About Me
Yes this is me speaking at my own wedding!
Because I believe that all ceremonies should be unique to you. Whether you like to follow tradition or do your own thing.
I'm an independent celebrant based in Midhurst, in the heart of the beautiful South Downs. I’m passionate about creating personal, meaningful and beautifully individual ceremonies that reflect the people at their heart.
My approach
I believe that ceremonies should be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Whether you have a spiritual tradition, a mixture of beliefs, or no faith at all, I’m happy to work with you.
I love finding thoughtful ways to weave together different faiths, beliefs and spiritual traditions, creating something that feels respectful, authentic and uniquely yours. As a Christian I'm very familiar with prayers, blessing and readings which can help a ceremony feel special and deeply significant.
I’m also someone who loves the outdoors, adventure and doing things a little differently. I don’t believe your ceremony has to follow a set formula or tick every traditional box. Perhaps you want to celebrate beneath an open sky, incorporate something completely unexpected, or simply create a moment that feels more like you.
Your beliefs. Your values. Your people. Your story. Your way. No expectations about what you should do. Just a ceremony created with care, personality and meaning - and delivered with confidence.
If you’re looking for a celebrant who is faith-friendly, genuinely inclusive, adventurous and happy to do things differently, I’d love to hear from you.

Why I became a Celebrant
It started with a friend's wedding in their garden. They wanted something personal, with a little Christian spirituality woven into their vows. I loved creating it — and the wonderful feedback got me thinking.
A few years later, I helped my husband plan his Mum's funeral, choosing the music, bringing the creative elements together and delivering the eulogy. Once again, people commented on how meaningful the ceremony had been. It felt natural too me, and having done many jobs which have involved public speaking, I felt confident delivering a ceremony in front of family, friends and strangers.
Since then, I've helped with eulogies and ceremonies for people close to me, and in early 2026 I decided to turn something I clearly loved into something more official, training with the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC).
I'll be upfront, I do this alongside my main job working for a local charity. However, recently going part time has given me the capacity to pursue something which I am passionate about.
So here I am! I'd love to hear what you're thinking, and how I can help you.
